Support Services

Brooklyn Free Space welcomes children who receive support services through Early Intervention (EI) and the Committee for Special Preschool Education (CPSE). We work in partnership with the special education teachers and therapists from outside agencies that support children with Individualized Education Programs (IEP's) to ensure that they are comfortable and productive in our learning environment.

In addition, BFS plays an active role in advocating for children to receive services if needed. We work in partnership with families so that a child can receive the support s/he needs. We will assist in finding qualified services, and contribute input to advocacy meetings. If a child’s needs are beyond our resources, we will work with the family to identify a setting where the child’s needs can be met.
